Seems bad? Well, that's up from 10% Trump. And consider this: In 2012, only 6% (!) of blacks voted for Romney. McCain pulled 4% in 2008. But here's the kicker: Bush won handily in 2004 with just 11% of the black vote and in 2000 with just 9%! Dole would've won in 1996 with 16%, but Perot stole 4% of the black vote from him (yes, voting third party loses elections). Hell, Reagan swept the country with just 9% in 1984. | ||
