maname paina....Indus has six tributaries(Including Indus main river) originating in Kashmir....We have exclusive rights on three and they have the other three.....but in terms of total quantum of water, they got 80% of the water. We are allowed to construct run of the river power projects(no storage) on their rivers. Even that also they are always obstructing us in the arbitration court. No country has been this generous anywhere in the world. We never stopped the water even during wars. That is sheer stupidity on our part. | ||

on top of that...they know that POK is illegally occupied/at the very least contested... and they deliberately chose to take sides...the moment they agreed to run it through POK/Gilgit areas - it implied them taking sides in the Kashmir conflict.
