Bottom line : Take as younger as you are(starting with where you had the responsibility of others like kids etc) and go for the longest term that you can go. Taking 30 years fixed at 30 years is a lot cheaper than the same term starting at 40 years. But the biggest catch is, for the same term(30 years in our case), if you start younger, it will end early(if you take at 30, your coverage ends at 60). But if you take the same term of 30 years starting at 40 years, it goes till your 70th birthday but starting late costs more. Here your sensitive age (from the health point of view is) your 60th year to 70th year. While the other argument could be "My kids turn 21 above by the time I am 60, I dont need any coverage after my 60th birthday, I can die at any time after my 60th birthday" For this argument case, starting at 30 is the best bet for a 30 years term :-) its a bunch of preferences around to fix a package. | ||
