Though i have been harshly critical over his pusillanimity, are we all guilty of misreading the ground situation. Last week when i went to VJA, Tenali etc, i spoke to a few people from taxi drivers to farmers. Folks on the ground were just moving on and were not complaining too much. Farmers were happy - 12 hours current vasthondhi, pantalu baga panduthunnayi last 2-3 years nunchi, makemi problem ledhu antonnaru..all this with the disclaimer that my sample size is quite small. AP being a largely agragian state now, keeping the farmers happy is prime and CBN appears to be doing that okay for now. |
