Chanakya was reportedly on his way to his office at the Rayadurgam campus. The tragedy took place when Chanakya lost his control over his scooty while avoiding a pothole on the road and fell off on the skiddy, rainy road. Chanakya was then run over by a speeding Innova which hit from behind. Even though passers-by and police shifted him to a nearby hospital, doctors could not save Chanakya's life as he sustained serious internal injuries in his chest region after being hit by the Innova. Angry passers-by were furious over the civic bodies whose negligence in filling up the pothole which cost Chanakya's life. The young techie hailed from Kurnool and was living in a rented flat in KPHB. |
