Order 7+ today after trading in 6+.. This is how it works (for people who wanna go through the process).. this is for t-mobile but other networks will do the same i guess Price chart - http://cdn.bgr.com/2016/09/iphone-7-trade-in-t-mobile-pricin g.jpg?quality=98&strip=all&strip=all You can do it over the phone (20 bucks processing fee will be applied) or online or in store (just taxes only)... new customer will have activation fees and some other fees... existing may or may not have it The most important thing is you are not getting money in to ur account in the process, the trade in value/new phone credit will be given to you in the form on monthly billing credits over 2 yrs... if you cancel the service before 2 yrs... you actually lose money in the process... lose phone and pay for the new phone too... - Upfront you pay only taxes (plus processing fee or activation fee if applicable) - During the process of order booking, u will get to know how much value u will receive for ur existing phone... - They will ship the iphone to you along with RMA for existing iphone... - once u return the iphone, thats when you will start receiving monthly credits... so technically credits may not start from first billing cycle... which means u will ending staying more than 24 months to get the free phone - The phone trade in value plus additional credits will be provided monthly... lets say ur bill is 100 bucks now... they will charge 100 + 27.04 (monthly payment for iphone 7 for 24 months) - credit of 27.04... technically you are still paying 100 - iphone 7+ is 120 bucks more so every month u pay 5 bucks more i.e. 105 - depending on memory u will pay more... Along the process if u decide to cancel ur 24 month 'financial agreement', u lose ur old phone plus pay the balance on new phone... |
