Went to Luke's lobster on 3rd ave and 43rd for dinner- crab roll, lobster roll were awesome clam chowder was good ! A little pricey - but good seafood with no fillers  try cheyyakapote cheyyandi-Noah's ark combo for two is a good deal ! I was regular during my newyork Days..with this guy. He was from Bangladesh.. I think owner is also from Bangladesh..Really good food. Last time I was in town ( guess in May) I saw about 100 people in queue around 2 am. at Halal place on 53rd and 6th Right....Funny thing was .. There were about 30 people in their cocktail dress standing in line | ||

I usually bring back food to office and eat at desk. So, I skip drink and take water. You should ask for basmati or yellow rice. Brown rice doesn't go well with halal food. | ||

I have been eating halal food for years in NYC. Best food ever. Period. I noticed recently, there are some brick & mortar fast food places called "The Halal Guys" in tri-state area. Food is really bad. Don't even try. Instead, try the authentic food from the street-carts. You can find them on every street corner. Get a chicken/lamb combo over rice for $6. Ask him to skip salad part and put red & white sauce. Listen to Swargam ikkade unnadi.. song. | ||
