My prediction is, iPhone 7 is transient model before introducing the wireless-charging in 7s, next year. Again, they will not be first in the game, but masses will embrace because that will be answer to lighting port/charging clash in iPhone 7.

They should have introduced it this year...I was damn sure they would...but very disappointed.

I ain't saying Apple is innovating here. They are taking a bold step to discard legacy hardware and pushing a tech. that they think holds future.

If you walk into BestBuy, bulk of windows laptops still have optical drives (DVD or Bluray), unless it is a ultra-compact laptop. These manufacturers see value in providing optical drives and customer think it is a good-to-have. If these drives are must-haves, why most of the media, creative people use Macbooks to author content? If lack of HDMI/bluray drives hinder their work, they would have abandoned macbooks and went with windows laptops. But, that isn't happening. I predict the same with getting rid of legacy audio jack.

My prediction is, iPhone 7 is transient model before introducing the wireless-charging in 7s, next year. Again, they will not be first in the game, but masses will embrace because that will be answer to lighting port/charging clash in iPhone 7.

Point here is, Apple likes to move forward with technology they believe in. Discarding legacy tech. may offend some loyal customers, but it is a gamble they are willing to play.

Iphone now has the fastest Processor, Probably the best Cam, Water Resistant and Stereo Speakers.

Ee maatram content is enough - along with Apple Eco System, it is literally an unbeatable package. End of day, having na Apple Phone in hand is guaranteed Premium status with great resale values.

For all of Note 7's Hype, Sammy screwed up with Exploding batteries which now blew up in their face.

For those really interested in a good Android Phablet, check out LG V20 which got released yesterday with great Specs and some standout features.

Enough of this Samsung Hype.

By Bluray's time all computers were going from drive based players no? unless someone is building their own machine, i rarely see any drives.

Purely gaming ki thappa, bluray drives are rarity in machines.

Infact almost all of US were against Blu-ray to begin with, the format itself. Warner bro's was the last wedge in the format war.

TVlu computerslu laptops anni HDMI vaaduthunnaru kadha..attahe firewire ani inka edo ettadu adhi emayyindhi.....still laptops are coming out with DVD drives and will for the near future... i have two laptops without DVD drive and dpnt need it but many do....

To be precise p9 has two sensors one is color and other is BW..it has single focal length unlike apples dual focal length lens..I would have somewhat agreed if u said Apple copied lg G5...but even then both lg and apple cameras work differently.... More than phone I am impressed about camera..thinking how photography will be in next 10 years
