I am not a psychology student or professional but i am very intuitive about people's psychology. This is what i think about PK's behavior 1)He is genuine in his ideals. He does not pretend to be who he is. He is the product of the literature he read and deeply influenced by his idols like Che Guevara. 2)He is a hero at heart and he is not afraid to make the sacrifices required to be a real life hero. He can suffer any loss to maintain that. 3)Unfortunately a hero's desire to be a hero is also what stops them from becoming visionaries. They can lead a movement as long as they have the center stage. That is the reason none of the actor-politicians have a political party based on ideology or philosophy. It lives and dies by them (and their successors who use their name) . 4)He is paranoid of his age. These days most actors dont hide their age. 5)He is likely to contest in elections but will not come into power because of the same reasons his brother failed. He will not be 100% new (because of manchitanam, mohamaatam, insecurity his party will have a lot of older generation politicians from other parties) or 100% old. Will try to be a mix of both and fail. But might emerge as 2nd or 3rd largest party and be stronger in future elections. And he does not have any single agenda that he can use. 6)If he comes to power he will be even a bigger failure because he has NOT ONE new idea. His party will be less corrupt (while he is the head) but also less growth like CPI/CPM party states in India. 7)Despite his image he is afraid to be controversial. He will not take any stand where public is divided on an issue. 8)He has image like Rajinikanth but he is one step above Rajinikanth because of one quality - His impulsive behavior. That is his only hope of making him click in politics. Media and public love impulsive people. 9)He does not like to be a #2 or have a #2. That is why he will not join parties like Loksatta or CPM when there is other leadership. 10)He can be easily persuaded by anyone in position of power. He has no negotiation method or defense from seasoned politicians. Part of reason why he played into the hands of TDP and BJP in last election. They pressed the right buttons and got what they wanted easily |
