I agree that Jaggu's case have taken a long time already but I don't think they'll take as much time as O P Chautala's or some other old cases because: 1. HC ordered weekly hearing so the trial court has been doing it from about an year. 2. As per a somewhat recent SC order (after the sensational judgement that disqualified and barred people like Lalu Yadav from contesting polls), the judgement in serious cases involving sitting MLAs and MPs must be delivered within one year after framing of charges. If this deadline is not met, the trial court judge would have to give a written explanation of the HC Chief Justice and seek extension. I am sure st least one extension was already provided but it would put some pressure on the trial court. "Sakshi is a most balanced and independent media. I'm not sure about the status of ED investigation but I think the CBI investigation was cold-blooded a long time ago. The framing of charges was completed in quite a few cases and the trial has been proceeding. Given that this is a crime of gigantic magnitude involving many people and many documents, it has been taking a long time to examine witnesses and documents.
