as long as you are aware, tax returns does not indicate net worth value, it is fine to ask for it. if you want to deduce somebody wealth based on his tax return  . Take ane xample of a rental property. On my scheudle C, i report income and expenditures and show my net income as less than 1000. Coming back to Trump, here is my issue. When he reads out of TelePrompTer(convention speech, today's plan, Ryan endorsement) he sounds standard( pretty close) republican . Nothing wrong with it but nothing appealing either. He is boring and ratings go down... Then he goes on stump.. TelePrompTer goes away and he is totally different person. Say and does things outrageous .. He gets interesting and ratings go up So he is either boring or offensive ... The balancing act will decide how close he gets to presidency | ||

yeah I got what you are saying but I seriuosly doubt feasibility. I was in the flat tax camp for some time but I am seeing some difficulties Few things. -15k of 100k is not equivalent To 15mil of 100 mil in utility value. Like any utility function it is non linear -Deductions are fabric of our society. They are be used to promote a good behavior and also used as incentive to promote economy growth -flat tax will generally hit the low income people . A bit related to the first point The thought process behind people earning less than 30k with no tax is the fundemental thought process behind prpgressive taxation | ||

flat tax is easy to maintain but with deductions it gets complicated . In an ideal World without flat deductions( which is almost impossible) will not be fair. Progressive taxation is difficult to implement but is more driven towards ' fair tax' There may be a middle ground that reduces complexity but also intorduce fairness..
