did you realize that even while supporting equality your unconscious bias came through - Role models in media and entertainment industry ???? Why , did you pick that one - why not roles models in politics or executive management or academia ? When you look for male role models is your default media/entertainment too ? Is that not part of the problem? I agree a 100% with the dress code issue you mentioned - they are completely skewed in this country even in high school - boys can't wear shorts but girls can wear short skirts ! But as women move up the corporate ladder the unspoken dress code does kick in ! Roles have changed , people will adapt as well..at one time the guy was always on the hook to pick up the bill - today it's fine for them to go dutch, so preferential treatment is reducing as well..
