Naim mu so sound bar

Naim makes great stereo products. I never owned a soundbar, so can't vouch. A quick search shows it is little expensive for the price you are paying.

between, i ended up in a weird scenario..my kid has a habit of going back of my sub..looks like she stepped over the woofer cable to receiver..that broke the cable pin and the broken piece got stuck in the woofer pin..practically the woofer becomes unusable..google/youtube came to rescue..

just sharig in anyone ends up this way

Simba sar vadu

I intend to buy Naim mu so sound bar as I don't want to clutter my living room. What is your take.
Is there an alternative for the same price that can beat it

sorry... couldn't respond earlier.

Ceiling speakers can't make the LCR and Rears. They are good for Dolby Atmos setup only. I would suggest, get the pre-wiring done in Living room (assuming primary viewing area). Have them wire for fronts (L, C, R) and rears. Also, install 2 ceiling speakers for Atmos setup. To summarize, you should end up with 2 ceiling speakers installed and 5 speaker connections which you can install yourself later. The components there are offering are mediocre, you can get better components with the same price.

For your secondary area (Study room), have them install recessed speakers along with volume controls.

Just 5.1 wiring ki each room ki 300 annadu. adhi kuda ceiling lo pothai antunnadu. tharuvatha ceiling cut cheyyali antunnadu.

Don't believe in what he says ..

First floor it will be little difficult to put wires , so get it done , even if it costs more , even consider putting wiring for fans and lights in all rooms you need. Prewire is sufficient.

Second floor, do the pre-wiring , but it is not as difficult to put wires latter , you will have an attic entrance and wiring can be done , with some effort, but go with pre wiring

Take pictures of all the walls , before the rocksheet is put , so that you will know what is behind the walls ..

independent home?

Living area is definitely better than 2nd floor (again naa personal choice, ideally basement ).. I dnt knw the layout of ur home but depending on the layout u might have to go with better system... remember ur now setting up everything in a bigger area... bigger sub woofer, better speakers n receiver of course..

Yeah independent home. living area dimensions around 16*18 untundhi.

Sesani:

if u still wanna set it up on 2nd floor, ask him to charge for installation and u will get the speakers

Present vallu wiring ante only ceiling lone chesthamu annaru walls ki no anukunta. but check cheyyagalanu.

vaadu isthunna speakers assala panikochevena?

Simple rule brother , the builder will take 50% more for these .. cutting a wall is very easy , as long as you have prewire .. you can buy a $5 saw and cut all the wall , or you can always hire a handyman or audio installers for lesser prices, use groupon or angies list to find some or references

5.1 , lo you have 3 speakers in front , 2 back and subwoofer ..

two back can be in ceiling , but the rest should be in ear level if possible.

Once you move to your house , you have plently of time to do the research and buy what you want ..

This is a huge compromise on the theater experience...

I personally dnt like ceiling speakers... purely na personal choice... I somehow feel the experience gets spoiled bcoz of the placement... Surround sound should not be coming from the top.. ear level nunchi raavale...

Now with Dolby Atmos, u actually need the ceiling for atmos set up and surround speakers will be at ur ear level...

Galodu:

#2. Aditional room lo kuda 2 speakers unnai kabatti akkada just volume controls saripothaya or do I ahve to buy receiver again?

Buy a multi zone receiver... this will solve ur problem... Sony DH770 is not a multizone receiver...

Galodu:

#3. Assala ila antha endhuku bayata manaki nachina speakers, receiver and subwoof set cheyyatam better aa?

Honestly speaking... ur dnt have a choice... because its on 2nd floor, I am not sure if its a good idea to buy a 'real' sub woofer.... If not polk PSW10, u may go for a little better one but buying something really good is ruled out i guess...

Galodu:

Installation and labor - 570
Theater room:
pre-wire 5.1 sorround sound $300
Sony DH770 Receiver $599
Yamaha NS-IC600 6.5 Reccessed Speakers(2pair) $524
Center Channel SP-C22 Speaker $199
Polk PSW10 10" Sub $249

Polk PSW10 is pretty basic subwoofer (i have pioneer which is pretty much same, dnt wanna disturb neignbors).. it wont even go under 35HZ.. and u will get it on amazon for 100..

Center channel is good but SP-C22 is awfully big...

Sony DH770 is 300..

Yamaha pair is around 250, charging 524

SP-C22 is less than 100

not sure why he is charging doule on everything

Overall this is an ok set up but he is charging u way too much for sure....
