The only airline I officially filed a racism complaint against. Got acknowledged by the CEO but no compensation.  16 yrs back, used to have a major chip on their shoulder. singapore air ripped them some deep ones and I am super glad. | ||

Aisle seats are better on international flights than window seats, I feel. When it is daytime, one keeps the window closed as most folks are sleeping. And when it is night having a window seat does not matter. When you are watching something on TV too, you keep the window closed to ward off the glare. Going to the loo is also easier from an aisle seat. All said, aisle wins this round. | ||

Cathay is good, not in the league of say a Qatar, Emirates or Singapore but definitely lot better than BA or other US/ European airlines. | ||

Service is ok. Snacks are self service . you are good , if you are not travelling with kids. Seat booking you need to do 24 hour before, keep a alarm and login and select the seats. other wise you wont get seats at one place. Otherwise agent can help | ||

if u book early with emirtes/qatar/etihaad they have something called business saver.. business class round trip from US to INDIA.. you will get it for around 4K and under.. i booked mine recently on emirates for 3700 DFW to HYD NOV to JAN return.. hoping it will be on A380 which is supposed to start from sep1st. | ||

They announced the price. Most recent experiences ( sept last year ) British - Bos to LHR +418$ upgrade to business class from economy comfort.
