Center is taking control over all the taxes. now ee chapati gallu they will collect taxes all over india and south states ki mondi cheyyi chupistaru revenue distribution lo. south states will have to start begging infront of the center for their fair share of revenue. also this looks like a accounting gimmic to increase taxes in the long run. | ||

The idea of moving towards the GST was first mooted by the then Union Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram in his Budget for 2006-07.
