both brands have speakers in all ranges. nuvvu budget padmanabam annav kabatti, let's compare Energy Take 5 against Klipsch Quintet These are satellite speakers, so subwoofer is must. just speakers compare cheste, klipsche have little better specs, they don't come with subwoofer. Price wise Energy speakers are bang for the buck. BTW, nuvvu Klipsch konte, subwwofer ye brand ayina konocchu. Don't spend much on Klipsch subwoofer. | ||

I have Klipsch Quintet and i recommend them... Flip side is u gotta buy the subwoofer and they r expensive compared to energy... Energy 5.1 is 300 ish Klipsch Quintet 5.0 is 550 ... sale and open box u might get it for 300ish.. plus subwoofer another 200ish.. so 5.1 is 500+ u decide... | ||

neeku sound 101 crash course... if u knew this already ... ignoreeeeee.... Human's hearing range is 20Hz to 20kHz... the lower the frequency, the farther the sound travels... ippuu road meeda nuvvu walking sestunte okadu 100 meters la flute vaayistunnadu... u may or may not hear him... ippudu same 100 meters la okkadu organ bajayistunnadu... u will definitely hear him at some point once he hits LFE - Low frequency Now the speakers r like flute, they cover frq range of 100HZ to 20kHZ (depends on the model).. they dnt emit LFE (again a disclaimer - depends on wht u buy but the ones i suggested dnt) The subwoofer will cover anything under 100HZ (depends on ur cross over)... Like i said the lower the frq, the farther the sound travel... so ur subwoofer is the one which will bother ur neighbors, not the speakers (unless u run them on max volume). The subwoofers i suggested r actually mid woofers, the dnt go below 30ish Htz... which its might be a big deal for some neighbors... but the speakers are superb speakers... If u want to buy a true subwoofer that hits 10-15 htz (house ni shake chese range) u have to spend more than 1200... so nen suggest chesina speakers keka and subwoofers mana laanti fells ki correct...
