@Bharat Nuke energy is good under 'ideal' conditions provided that the equipment are good in condition, safety checks are regularly done and waste is handled efficiently agree...coal generates more greenhouse gases, but the problem here is u need to look at the geographic location also Srikakulam is not in that safety zone...one small tremor can lead to disaster, the most important thing I am asking here is, Does AP need a nuke reactor for its energy needs? already, Govt is boasting that we are energy surplus state...why take risk ? let's assume for making money...but Nuke reactors are not proved cost effective so far...in fact Forbes has released data 1985 saying that Nuke reactors are the 'worst managerial disasters' in the history of USA the capital investment has gone up several folds now, Kovvada plant is just investing time on uncertainty! <p> <em> Dalit for PM </em> </p> | ||
