RTC MD Nanduri Sambasiva Rao to Become Andhra Pradesh DGP ? Sources say yes. The current DGP J.Ramudu tenure would be completed by this month end. Though there are other two IAS senior officers, Chief Minister is preferring N.Sambasiva Rao 1984 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh, N.Sambasiva Rao is promoted to the rank of Director General of Police recently. Chief Minister is impressed with the extraordinary work of Sambasiva Rao, done to RTC and the way it is up-lifted all over the state. The other advantage is, Mr.Sambasiva Rao is related to Kapu community. Taking the political and caste equation, Chief Minister has decided to go with Sambasiva Rao for the crucial police boss, DGP post.
