If you run an ecommerce business every feature change, product change is driven by experiments that determine what is working. If someone is only generating these reports, then it will not be well paid. But, if some one owns the product, ie. decision making on what experiments to run, evaluation metrics then it will be good. It will be hot because even traditional companies will make it a basic requirement. Aa link lo he is saying the right things, but it will depend on where you are in your career and the cost. In my view, certificate itself will not help much but if they have good courses and projects, knowledge is useful. Volunteer to work on 1 or 2 projects at your company that involves data driven decision making. That will also be useful. Microsoft launched a Data Science degree program with 10 courses. Very generic pulp, if you use any stats, analysis and work on business side of a company...then you call it business analytics. These days no company runs without it. Nenu product management, finance, marketing areas cover chesa with heavy analytics usage...ippudu maa team lo business side entha experience unna...minimum requirement sql querying ravaali (to be able to get own data without relying on IT), statistical modeling is a bonus even for senior managers. | ||
