this is what i did in birmingham.. if you have decent yard or big standing tree or high elevated position for your home.. install a bat house... it is quite helpful. especially if you are near a lake, even better. http://www.batmanagement.com/Batcentral/boxinstall/install1. html it is the safest way to deal with insects and mosquitoes. also helps conserve bat population. the procedure is pretty simple. a single bat can kill anywhere between 500 to 800 mosquitoes per hour. current government solutions are typically toxic to nature. | ||

I have a seven year old living there right now - whose best friend is in the hospital with a platelet count of less than 3000. I have a three year old living there right now with a high temperature and rashes all over the body. (Under medical care but fortunately at home as of now) In Aparna itself, I know of three kids in critical state right now and about 10 kids with very high fever. No one cares. Not the government who just wants to mint money.. Not the real estate biggies (Aparna) who just wants to abuse the earth, poison the ecosystem and mint money of course.. Not the people like me who just want to live in gated communities and end up buying apartments and then crib about abuse of nature. Not the blue collar workers on site at these real estate projects who use the open area around the lake as well as the "beautiful" gated communities as open toilet area. Not the sanitation workers who don't visit the area even once a year Not the pollution control board officials who fail to record air pollution levels in areas around Patancheru or Miyapur City lopala there is still a sense of ownership. Ee suburbs lo no one cares. Ishtam vacchinattu abuse chesi padestunnaaru environment. This is a disaster-in-waiting. Dengue is spreading like wildfire in "up-market residential neighbourhoods" such as Aparna Cyber Commune, CyberZon, Sarovar, Grande. Look at Nallakunta/Abids etc - Not a single case of Dengue or Malaria. Even viral fevers - not much. My daughter's best friend - was an active kid till yesterday. Now in intensive care in critical state because of a sudden drop in platelets count. Deenemma jeevitham. R2I ani egire sodarulu konchem ee areas nundi dooramgaa undandi.
