Bro, Nenu last month VISA appointment teesukunna.. As of June 10, there were no chennai dates, HYD Sep 15, Mumbai Sep 1 were available. So I booked for Sep 1. I was checking every day and after 15 days got the appointment for Aug 16 Mumbai. Then yesterday, I got Aug 11 Hyd. So key is keep checking the site. On day before yesterday there were 30 slots available in HYD for Aug 10,11. I saw July 22 as well yesterday.. So Key is keep checking, you will get it.. Also, if you and your family are going, it will be counted as two slots instead of 1. So, that will impact as well. Create a dummy login in cgic site and keep checking.. Follow the trackit discussion below. But keep checking.. Bro.. My wife went to dropbox 2 weeks back (I used drop box 3 years back as well).. Here is the experience.. 1) Fill DS-160. Make sure that it is correct. While filling select the nearest consulate. 2) After submitting the DS-160, go to CGIC website and register. give DS-160 number 3) Then you will get series of questions. Based on answers, the system determines the dropbox eligibility a) is your visa last time has clearance received? b) is your last visa active or expired in last 12 months? c) do you have any rejections from last stamping.. I don't think the consulate where the last visa stamped is not a question for eligibility. 4) Pay the visa fee of 190 USD. Make sure that you NEFT to the correct account. It will be unique account for you.. It takes 6 hours (India Business time) to NEFT receipt. 5) Then oka roju prodhute lechi, snanam chesi, tuckup chesukuni, go to HYD Gowra grand building with DS-160 confirmation, dropbox confirmation, Powder kotti teesukunna photos (they are very strict about photos), you I-797 (they want all your previous H1B approvals), One payslip and client letter. They don't take anything else. After dropping: Day 1: It will reach consulate Day 2: Ready Day 3: Ready/Admin processing(don't worry this is not 221g) Day 4: Admin Processing Day 5: Issued.. Sudi unte, you can collect passport this day. Day 6: Collect the passport.. | ||
