Are you adding this filter to adblock plus then the right filter string is "@@||eenadu.net/ads.js$script" make sure there is not http or www to the domain name for adblock plus | ||

That's the only filter make sure you add the filter without double qoutes. Close the exisiting eenadu.net page and re-open in another tab to make sure the ublock is not blocking ads.js file | ||

Okay I found an easy way to disable eenadu's adblock detection BTW this method applies to both ublock origin and adblock plus chrome extensions Here is the demo with ublock origin (you can copy the same exception rule in adblock plus http://i.imgur.com/SlTsHou.gifv and here is the filter string "@@||http://www.eenadu.net/ads.js$script" add this to exception list without double quotes I looked at the homepage code there is timer that frequently checks if RunAds is fals. If this condition is set it redirects you to welcome.html (banner to display disable adblock) before this if condition there is a script tag which fetches "http://www.eenadu.net/ads.js" and all it does is set "var RunAds = true" this does not mean that ads are displayed it's only to satisfy the previous condition before redirecting. TLDR; Add this exception string to ublock origin or adblock plus "@@||http://www.eenadu.net/ads.js$script" |
