I took TV to India in 2012. Airlines accept upto 42". so you can check this in. But the issues are: 1) NTSC to PAL. Not all DTH services work. There is one guy in Hyd, i had to buy a receiver from him (DISH). Same issue for my 2 friends and cousin.. I tried with Reliance, Videocon, Airtel and SUN none of them work. 2) 110 V - 240 V conversion.. Some brands are 110V only. You need to buy good converter. But these converters are not reliable always.. 3) No Support if there is any problem. Na tv last week chachindhi.. No service.. Photo frame laa vadukovaali inka. 4) Customs.. They charge you bomb.. In the least case 5-10K.. Prepare for that. 5) Handling: There is every chance that it will be broken. Can't blame anyone. I prefer buying a TV in India itself. But Micromax TVs, I heard they are good. I have to buy a TV in India since my US TV dead. Will buy in August during my trip | ||
