Awesome Chennai Rocks.....the way people came together and volunteered in saving and helping during floods was awesome. I have never seen such relief efforts by public and volunteers without depending on govt. Literally govt didnt exist in many places during that time...it was all people from all walks of life....Guys from my office i know reached out to worst hit places despite their houses too had been impacted(less severe) ...they were driving proclainers, garabage trucks whatever was available to shift people and supply food. | ||

They came out on flooded roads to carry out neighbours, organise boat rescues, cook and distribute food to the hungry and homeless. | ||
