Even as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders stepped up attack on Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram for launching a tirade against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he has turned more aggressive in his offensive against the government. On Tuesday, Kodandaram equated the KCR government with wolfs, who prey upon sheep. âLike a wild wolf preying upon sheep, the government authorities are pouncing on poor people who are banking on agriculture. How can the government take up land acquisition without their consent? What is the difference between you and the previous governments of combined state?â he asked. He wondered why the government was trying to vacate 14 villages just for the sake of 50 tmc of water under Mallanna Sagar dam. âWe shall continue our struggle for the sake of people,â he said. With Kodandaram plunging into action, the Chief Minister has gone on defensive. He reportedly instructed to dig out cases against Kodandram and throw him behind bars. ... |
