Sharing pictures from the foundation stone laying ceremony of super speciality Hospital granted by the Govt. of India under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) in Vijayawada. The project Cost is estimated at Rs. 150 crores, out of which Central Government will contribute Rs. 120 crores and the remaining Rs. 30 crore will be borne by the State Government. This project will create a facility of a 240 bedded hospital with specialised departments for Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, neurosurgery, Paediatric surgery and critical care. This will also create Super-speciality 16 PG seats spread-over in 8 Departments and provide Health Care to the surrounding Districts. I feel very happy to have been instrumental in getting these facilities to our city. A long cherished dream of medical fraternity of Vijayawada is finally getting fulfilled.
