Coming to Google Hyderabad.Only close to 100 jobs are Highened engineering. Rest 2-3k are adwords, IT & Maps.I doubt if Google maps Engineering work happens at google hyderabad. Maps here is actually labour intensive work.Long A friend of mine used work there as moderator.There were 200+ people working on maps at that time. Most of them work as vendors. Only because of Adwords Facebook started its ads team at Hyderabad, I believe because of maps team at Google, Apple chose hyderabad for Maps team. @Boston baba Microsoft at Hyderabad has 3 divisions MSIT(IT operations and engineering), MSGlobal delivery( Similar to any other services company) and MSIDC(R& D division) MSIDC is on-par with MIcrosoft Redmond, Which recruits from top campuses. Close to 1000 R&Engineers work at MSIDC. These are highend jobs. Bangalore center started with Acquiring Yahoo ads teams. Later few teams got moved/expanded(from US) over there. Division of bangalore IDC and Hyderabad IDC is just based on team. Few teams operate from hyd and few from bnagalore that s it. AFAIK Few years they decided not to expand much in hyderabad and started expanding in bangalore.NO new building or floor is built in Hyderabad from last 5 years. | ||
