Dehradun lo ee time lo chaala hot gaa intundi. 40 kudaa touch avuddi. Though it is in foot hills (starting point) of mussorie hills. | ||

Been to mussorie thrice.haridwar and rishikesh multiple times vellanu. Ivanni student time lo. Summer is not a great time for mussorie. You don't feel like hill station at this time. Rishikesh and mussorie are better places to stay. Haridwar is pure plains and very crowded place. Ganga aarthi is worth watching. Rishikesh is much better. You can spend a day or 2. White water rafting is the best in the country. Check that out. Mussorie lo unna attraction kempty falls. I think it will dry down by this time | ||

thanks anna Looks like Rishikesh is better option compared to Haridwar/Dehradun for stay. Also Jollygrant airport is closer to Rishikesh than Dehradun town Mussoorie vella ledha meeru? | ||

I recently went to Rishikesh and Haridwar in March. One of the best holidays i have had of late. In March, the water was still abundant and cool. It depends on what kind of holiday you want to have. If you have a non-spiritual holiday, stay in Rishikesh. Ganga is absolutely fresh and turquoise in colour. Food options are many. And it is a lot more cleaner than Haridwar. I stayed in a place called Rainforest Rishikesh which is right on the Ganga beach with its own private small waterfall. Delightful property, with great saatvik food. Kids had a awesome time. If you are going with aged folks then i would not recommend this as the property is at a slight downhill. We stayed around 3-4 days there in toto. Made one half day trip to Haridwar which is around 45 mins - 1 hour from Rishikesh. Saw Ganga aartis in Rishikesh and Haridwar. One advice i have - see the artis, but give the temples a wide pass. Mana laga, Rishikesh/ Hardwar lo oka main temple antu undadhu. The level of commercialisation is a breed apart and almost like some private entities. I also paid a visit to the Beatles Ashram. You can also go to the Rajaji national park, i did not go as the park apparently does not have a lot of animals. If you stay in Rishikesh you can also do white water rafting etc and hikes which i did not do this time. If you have time you can do a day trip from Rishikesh to some other places up the hills. One caution - it will be extremely hot there and travelling would be a pain. If you have a week it would be a lot - you can probably kill one day in Dehradun. | ||

entire trip religious trip aithe haridwar... ledu haridwar rishikesh lo 2days vuntaa..rest antha..dehradun nainital attantivi chustaa ante dehradun.. nenu ordinary satram lo vunna haridwar lo..peru kudaa gurtu ledu..so I cant recommend accomodation though... | ||
