KTR apparently gave an earful to A Gandhi - (MLA of this region) who came to Nallagandla Lake yesterday to inspect it. Then he went to the GHMC office and held a half an hour meeting with GHMC officials on how to fix the lake. A notice has gone out to Aparna Constructions to remove the debris from the lake bed ASAP. They are starting the beautification work and the fencing and de-silting of the lake. On a parallel track AOL is also working with some experts to rejuvenate the lake. While I don't agree with a lot of AOL policies, any help is welcome as far as this lake is concerned. Hopefully the lake manages to retain whatever rain water it gets this year. AOL is forming a complete team with geologists, soil specialists and other experts. They will be assisting the government and the volunteers in rejuvenating the lake. Oka saari lake poorthigaa endipothe it will be really difficult to come back to the normal state even if it rains. Lake lo life sustain avvagalige ecosystem ni teesukuraavaali mallee.
