Rajusk:

Inthaki mee research Satavahanas are from Andhra or Not from Andhra ani naa ?

OR

Satavahanas are Bs or Non-Bs aa ?

If satavahans were from Andhra tribe, highly unlikely they were brahmins.....If Satavahanas came from outside from North India as governors of Mauryan empire, then they might have had Brahmin roots...The Andhra kinhdom ancient than satavahans with capital at Srikakulam in Krishna districts......There is a theory that they were early Satvahanas....There is a movie by NTR on sirkakula based Aandhra kingdom.......Srikakula Andhra Mahavishnuvu kadha

Two scenarios

Satavhanas were part of Andhra tribe/clan rulers, became feudatories of Mauryan empire during Ashoka and regained independence after Ashoka and expanded their empire as sovereign rulers outside Andhra. In this scenario there is little chance of Brahmin case origin unless the earlier Andhra rulers were also explicitly brahmin. After the fall of Mauryan empire and when Vedic rituals were in ascendance across India these Andhra origin rulers also took up Brahminical rituals or identity

Satavahanas were not from Andhra but came to Andhra as governors of Mauryan empire from North India or Bihar. When Mauryan empire fell declared independence and began to flaunt their subverted or concealed Brahminical identity and as part of larger pan-indian phenomenon revived the Vedic rituals. It seems Ashoka in one of his edict declared that Buddhism was wide spread and practiced across his provinces including Andhra. If Satavahanas had Brahmin roots following vedic rituals they should have concealed their identity during Ashoka reign and revived after Mauryan empire collapse
