Vjawarrior:

agree.. Investors need user growth but left out basics .. Still flipkart has brand name.. Either they need to associate with giants like alibaba for refining model or merge with Amazon

Snap deal might fall after jabong

let alone E-Commerce is actually a Product in it's core, and not necessarily a Service!!!
The E-Commerce bubble, that's been blowing out-of-proportions since 2012 in India, is ready to go bust. The heat is already felt in some startups that failed to have taken-off, and those that have begun to fumble only recently, are next in line...
If you have put your money in E-Commerce in India, now is the time to watch closely in order to avoid painful surprises.

nope..amazon is killing them.....they just cant match amazon interms of service/logistics/deals/reviews etc...

Excellent Write-up..
Listed all the points that tell you why India is a Software Services based industry, not essentially a successful product based industry... let alone E-Commerce is actually a Product in it's core, and not necessarily a Service!!!
