Spacemac:I was trying for ms mgmt course and get job in manufacturing industries etc, what can u say about it?
Not an easy thing like i said earlier (unless u do from top schools) H1 meeda managerial roles (especially full time at client) very limited openings untayi.... within organization grow aithe tappa, managerial roles ki direct H1 hires takkuva... consulting aithe chances are there.. average Desi MBAs will typically get into business analysis and grow up the ladder (few exceptions unnayi of course)... adi nen choosina experience... DB la inkevaranna personal experience unna vaallu cheptaaremo choodam... ee threads choodu - http://www.chalanachithram.com/discus/messages/125/208308.ht ml?1363989632 http://chalanachithram.com/discus/messages/115/311680.html?1 453917368 |

Spacemac:@Sesani thx brother, got fired web dev. A year now, lost interest in coding, somewhat existential crisis, any thoughts are welcome, seeing career go nowhere
Appudu leaving India isnt an answer to ur problems tammudu... U gotta understand that IT market is not same as 1990s or early 2000s... Neeku skill lekapothe it isnt easy to survive in foreign land also... especially with the immigrations issues we got... india la at least neeku immigration tension undadu Sollu cheptunna anukoku.. My sincere suggestion would be get serious abt ur job.. 30 yrs ki if u lose interest u have long way to go... coding nee valla kaadu anukunte try DBA roles or reporting tools or softwares with minimal coding.. regardless u gotta keep evolving with the market... something hot today is dead tomorrow... Inka nee initial post ni batti naaku artham ayyindi endi ante u wanna go management route... US la MBA chesina, getting a job on management side isnt easy bcoz of the h1 visa.. companies rarely hire folks on h1 as managers.. if u had GC thats a different story... I know friends who did MBA and started working as Business Analysts and eventually became managers but it took them years to get there.. so if have plans of taking that route be prepared for 10-15 yrs to become a manager... If ur serious abt management, try ur options in India first.. become a manager there and US la any desi MNC will file for a GC in EB1 (which is a trend now).. bottom line... manak stuff undaale India aina, amrika aina... gone those days where engg 8 yrs chadivina candidate making 100 USD an hr or degree fail getting a GC... ikkada kuda vaachipotundi.. All the best tammudu... |

Hello mesharu... If ur parent's comfort is ur priority... forget abt US or any other country.. they may not like the change in lifestyle, dnt torture them at this age is my suggestions... plus if they have any health conditions US isnt the right place at all... If u have plans of settling down in US and bring ur parents here... the easiest option would be EB1 GC.. which still will take 7-8 years minimum before ur parents get GC... if ur planning to do MS and then take the EB2 route, ur looking at 15+ years for ur parents to get GC (at the current EB2 rate) nen cheppindi artham kakapothe cheppu detailed disco cheddam... ledu maatlaadale ani sesani.ccdb @ gmail ki email kottu talk cheddam |

Be specific in your questions. What is the info that you are not able to find using a google search ? You can bring your parents for visiting for your graduation as that will be a good reason for going for visa. Also make sure you have the money to support tuition and living for 2 years. If you are married I think you can also bring your family on F2 http://immigrationroad.com/visa/f1-student/f2-visa-dependent -spouse-child.php |
