Many seem to think that KCR is also following Jaggu's rule of 1/3rd reservation for Reddys because Reddys are 1/3rd of the current cabinet. But I think the rule KCR is following is to simply ensure that Reddys are the single largest caste and no group such as Backward Castes is given more berths than them. Swami Goud was promised a cabinet berth long before TRS came to power. But he was given Legislative Council Chairman instead. Now there are rumors that he wants to become a minister so Kadiyam would be made Legislative Council Chairman in his place. In any case, another SC Koppula Eshwar was publicly assured of a cabinet berth by KCR recently so Kadiyam may have to make way for him. Nayani is not in good health.
