USA also had very similar kind of performance and after record premiers it was slowed down completely on Friday. Going by the advance bookings trend in USA on Saturday, more or less Saturday Box office performance would be similar to Friday (Which is actually supposed to be double). It is estimated that by the end of 1st weekend, Sardaar Gabbar Singh may end up by collecting $1 to $1.1 Million and final closing will be around $1.2-$1.3 million (8 to 8.5 Crores Gross). Overseas and Karnataka rights were sold for 11C and 8.5 C respectively and including prints & publicity it is around 21.5 Crores. Going by the 1st and 2nd day trends in these areas, Sardar may end up by collecting 1/3rd of 21 crores at best with 2/3rd losses (14-15 Crores losses in Karnataka and Overseas combine). While in Karnataka, the Occupancy for morning and matinee shows has been reported below 10 percent for many stations  |
