Done. I know her personally and she is sister of colleague's wife. last year she applied for H4 EAD was about take some training to get the job but meanwhile this terrible thing happened. Husband got laid off within a month she diagnosed and every since he is struggling to find new job and taking her to chemos. He never wanted to go for fundraising wasn't allowing us to do this. finally yesterday he accepted it. Just last week they came to know that cancer is spreading. They've 2 beautiful school going girls. Pls see if you guys can help. thanks. | ||

Dear Friends and Family, It is with heavy heart that we are sharing the story of my cousin Indira Tokkala’ s (Sindhu's sister) pancreatic cancer fight . She is survived by her husband and 2 children aged 7 and 10 years. She has been having several complications beginning of 2015. The family’s main income was cut down as her husband lost his job during company layoff off in May 2015. During the same time my cousin was affected with Jaundice. We went to the Physician who found a mass in the pancreas based on the CT and MRI scans. The tumor was sent to biopsy and the results were positive for Stage 2 Pancreatic cancer. Oncologist started Chemo and radiation treatments. After 10 chemo treatments, she was eligible for whipple surgery to get rid of the tumor . After the surgery she went through post chemo treatments to get rid of any micro traces of tumor if any. However, during the last scan after chemo our hopes were shattered as the scan results showed the cancer has spread all through the abdomen and it is in stage 4. This is devastating news for the family after we went through this painful process. Now she has to be treated for more chemo and radiation. We are also looking for couple promising treatments in India and clinical trails here. She is having partial insurance coverage and All the savings have been used for the treatment until now. We need support from you to help my cousin fight with cancer. I will appreciate prayers as I know God is the ultimate healer.
