Between 12 and 18 months lack of joint attention (do you see what i see), pretend play, lack of eye contact, not responding, stimming behavior ( repetitive body movements). If the kid shiws this symptoms then it better to take to developmental pediatric and start early intervention program. | ||

many folks realize it late bro... ofcourse, i will be thorough.. and nudge them slow.
yes vunkl.. the sooner the better. my son has improved quite abit.. he is 3 now, but is still about 18 months old in many things... while he is advanced in other things.in this fast paced world... its tough for such kids. eventually things will even out ani hope undhi...but some situations are very difficult for them to handle and emotionally they get affected. | ||

One of my friends moved from NJ to ATL today, went to see him. Meeting him after 6 years, and during this period he got married and has a kid. Met the kid for the frst time, 18 month old, and I immediately recognized traits of Autism. Both parents seem to know the kid is different but they are not suspecting yet, or dont know about it. Planning to talk to him soon... as a father who has one who is affected, i hate to be in the situation to break it to them. they need to get help as soon as possible. I couldnt think of anything else since afternoon.... |
