http://www.firstpost.com/india/world-culture-festival-didnt- damage-yamuna-floodplain-environmentalist-gives-art-of-livin g-clean-chit-2682804.html I agree with the statement that we need to have more such festivals that are non-damaging, people need to have an active engagement with the rivers that shows them the value of the rivers, once you value the rivers you will realise the effects of all the polluting activities that we do...that being said, i am against dumping of Ganesh idols in Hussain Sagar, Yamuna etc. as they are damaging the rivers. |
