Assuming some of you are pissed off with yesterday's budget, who have voted to BJP/Modi in 2014 (and before as well), and rightly so - please read the following - The farmers and rural segment of the population has been facing a big big crisis with falling income levels and not being able to catch up on many social fronts due to historical injustices. It is time the country helps them for an year or two for them to atleast stand on their own feet and feed us. A bit more priority for that segment in this budget will not really push us (urban middle classes) to poverty line, but this creation of irrigation infra, marketing infra and credit infra for farmers would help them stabilize for a while. And if farmers are taken care off, 60% of the entire population of India is taken care off. And that would again trigger a huge cycle of demand for services and products (manufacturing). Ika last 2 years nunchi tax lu/cess lu kadutunna meeru, please understand that this govt is creating substantial amount of infra like no other govt without any corruption and in the long run, we all benefit due to infra.
