Recent years lo they are doing that...going by measurements where DL players are doing better and trusting Cable to convert them into OL. Oka 2 conversions succesful (RT and Sweezy)...and another 2 are in the pipeline. Sweezy was a convert from DL to OL...is a free agent and they are expecting him to get mid-size (5-6 M) contract. These things take time..atleast an year. | ||

Two things...right now they spend a lot more money on defense compared to offense. This year, I think they are willing to spend more on offense to retain free agents and get cheaper on defense. WR is good (Baldwin, Lockett and Graham)...they have spent by far the most draft picks on WR...so I dont think they will spend any more picks. | ||

OL story enti ante mainly lack of continuity. They lost key players for 2 years in a row. Ee year kooda they may loose Okung unless they spend a lot. Last year Center (Max Unger) was sent in the Jimmy Graham trade. They lost James Carpenter (LG) in free agency. They also moved Justin Britt from RT to LG to plug that hole. So, 3 players in new position. Britt was 2nd rounder in 2014 who started every game at RT in rookie year. They were trying different centers and decided to switch Britt to LG very late. 2nd half of the season lo the line was ok except in 1 or 2 games. I think Rams and Aaron Donald tho they will struggle...I don't think they can fix it in an year. | ||
