I got this call once last year or before. It was so authentic that for a while I was in shock and kind of almost believe stage. Then realized IRS never ever calls but sends notices (I received once the year before and then cleared it). I cut the call. They called Second time with serious consequences and my HD was shell shocked and started believing. This incident happened in Philadlephia. On 25th March noon, she told her manager, she is not feeling well and going home. After that, every 2 hours she was calling her friends and asking for money in English. She seems tensed so all friends gave money, the mode of money transfer was through MoneyGram. After 2-3 friends sent the money, somehow they came to know that something going wrong and tried to call her on the mobile but she never picked single call. But she was calling other friends for money. Friends approached police and police started investigating, mean time police got the information and picked her in Philadelphia around 12:00AM. They took her inside the police station and inquired some time and sent her home. She was very panic and could not give all details. to us. Her roomie gave details. We came to know the incident around 8PM and through her roommate and her employer in Atlanta and helping them. I will try to meet her today. Same routine stuff..
