Centre releases Rs 1,500 crore for construction of new AP capital TNN | Mar 31, 2015, 01.39 AM IST . NEW DELHI: The NDA government on Monday sanctioned Rs 1,500 crore for the construction of Andhra Pradesh's new capital. The amount included Rs 500 crore for AP's new Raj Bhavan, Secretariat, High Court and assembly. . . A press release issued by the Union finance ministry said Rs 1,000 crore was allotted for support to essential amenities for the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. The funds are being released as Special Financial Support to Andhra Pradesh. Since the release of the funds would be monitored by the Union urban development ministry, a letter of approval had been sent to that ministry, the release added. . The Central Government has announced special assistance of Rs.1,000 crore to Andhra Pradesh during the current financial year. Of the total allocation, Rs.350 crore would be earmarked for the development of seven backward districts – three in north Coastal Andhra and four in Rayalaseema – at Rs.50 crore each. An equal amount had been announced for the construction of the new capital Amaravati while Rs.300 crore would be released towards the Polavaram project, which has been declared a National Project. The funds now sanctioned are in addition to Rs.4,403 crore released to the State during the previous financial year. This included Rs. 350 crore for the seven backward districts, Rs. 2,303 crore for bridging the resource gap, Rs.1,500 crore for creating infrastructure facilities in the new capital and Rs.250 crore for Polavaram Project so central govt has totally given 1500 cr plus 300 cr i.e 1800 ctr to capital amaravathi}} | ||

what happened to the 1500 crores given to AP by central govt for purpose of building capital buildings why cBN is taking loan to build temporary secretariat why they r not STARTING THE BELOW PERMANENT STRUCTURES WITH THOSE 1500 CRORES 1) HIGH COURT 2) MLA AND MINISTERS QUARTERS 3) GOVERNER BUNGALOW 4)CM BUNGALOW 2) how come for just coyructing 6 buildings ONLY 2 CORPORATES submitted tenders( this is not even a technology driven contrusction like Water project) |
