lol... its not about if, its about how and why. Thats the difference between religion and science... hinduism lo 1000s of years back ippudu science lo entha kasi tho alochana tho work chestharoo ala chesaru... they developed algebra etc. Great. But what happened in between in the last 1000 years?? no research.. no development... just superstitions... vasthu, jathakams, etc... then we lost to middle-east... There has to be a clear traceability established first , and the scientific community has to acknowledge that the ideas in these scriptures translated into later discoveries .. Don't you think ? My point is , even today when we see all this awareness of the scientific content in scriptures is anyone using it to further scientific research ? What is your point ? Scientific exploration and discovery is about looking forward.. Past is only as relevant as it can be used to build the future on ... If surya siddhanta has answers to some open questions today then that would be great for the world to know ...otherwise we can worship the book and match retroactively after modern science rediscovers that and then stoke our egos saying it was done earlier what does the world gain ?
