subnet mask is to mask different subnetworks. If your router is relatively new, they offer something called "guest network". If your network SSD is "warrior", create a guest network with SSD "warrior_guest" or "blondes_ony". You give different credentials/password to access it. Guest network is by default gets different subnet and you main network is not accessible from guest. Now two are practically different networks, can't see each other. Except if both of you post on CCDB with different IDs, you see same IP address. | ||
