You are right.. If you have any immigration holes in the history, such holes would be covered all together at once when you are admitted into the country next time. Admission into the country means, CBP (in other words DOH) has given you a CLEAN CHIT on your immigration imperfections(if any) till that point. But for the OP's case, I dont think its that serious. He/she may go out and come back as a part of the future travel plans. | ||

oka saari mee attorney ni kanukko...better get it corrected right away...bcos if you report any errors as soon as you get the approval, USCIS will do it immediately and will send u the corrected notice...I had an typo in my name and when my attorney pointed this out, USCIS sent the corrected notice within a week... | ||

Similar question i have, I have recently moved to california from boston , the amendment for this location change has been filed and i have a receipt notice When i checked the status online ,it is in RFE stage. Now i have an offer from another employer in Richmond , Virginia and Submitted my H1B docs for transfer. These H1docs does not include the above mentioned amendment ( as i dont have that doc at that time) can i move to the new employer in richmond , after the transfer receipt notice is obtained ? | ||

No problem.. keep a copy of the new H1B receipt notice(with the date before your old I-94 expiry date). This is required to prove your In-status status later(definitely you come across this in future) | ||
