Yeah, you are right! maa daggara you can buy any size lot with major road access zoned for agriculture and still build a home on it! you can get 1-5 acre lots for 60-100k. same new subdivision lo lot chusthey 1/3rd acre lot is about 170-200k.

i did it and lot of my friends have did it

simple ga cheyavacchu,
1) Identify the land which is for sale, for me i went to subdivision where there was a land for sale

bought the land

2) identify the contractor, i had 3-4 desi builders who build nice custom homes in charlote, bid for the project, ours was open invoice policy
contractor tells me how much its going to cost, and we pay 15% on top of the cost for managing it
we selected a old american builder who built my neighbors home since he was already in the sub division and new the structural commitee

he choose to take 10-12% over the cost

my total project was completed in 10 months, he got the plans approved from the city



thanks unkul....yes multiple single family houses...

as per him, no wetland ani certification undanta...also sewer/water something already undanta...land subdivision undhi already.

as per info we gathered, some permits avi raavadam kastam and if we are stuck with permit or something what is the way out etc ani...

Land konadaniki 100% cash tho konaala?

If you have a friend who has been in construction field, you should go for it or just skip it. Too many regulations, too many headaches. Nenu inka US lo ne undi unte, maa wife inka job chesthu ne undi unte mee andariki easy ayyedemo...

but you need to find the land at right spot and it should be available.

Getting loan is another tough thingy as it is not regular loan
