probably TN way ...90% castes covered in some or other category......there are equivalent castes of kamma/velama/reddy etc., which are under OBC category.....that is the problem.....that is our fcuked up system....it is very difficult to oppose any demand for inclusion in OBC because some well-off castes are already in OBC.....you cannot take out those well-off ones once they are included....this is where indian judiciary also failed as they failed to establish or failed to ask govts to establish proper criteria for inclusion in OBC..... the basic issue is there is no defined/specific criteria for inclusion in OBC | ||

yes, they will add some clause to exempt minorities and do this(already minority exemption unte eppudo chesevallu Congress). They inserted clause 5 in Article 15 for education and already implementing quotas in private education(which applies only to Hindus). Next step is all businesses but one more clause has to be inserted(one more amendment). When Cong comes to power again, they will surely do this. | ||

How are yu going to identify the beneficiaries? Identity sticks and that is why people focus on quota based on identity(caste/religion). Easy to get people together on identity and fight. Also income might change every year. So you take a seat in a college under EBC quota this year and next year your income increases above the limit set. what happens then? C in OBC is Class, not caste. Some Muslims/Christians already in OBC in some states. This whole OBC thing is a farce. | ||

CBN should try for EBC reservation for all OC castes. He should try for constitutional amendment for 15-20%. BJP and Congress will also support. We can have like EBA-A, EBC-B to catogorize various OC castes. Congress is using caste politics to weaken Hindu polarization. BJP should makeup. |
