I Idont want to really comment too much on this guy personally as his family are still mourning. But want to make a general comments on these kind of hatred in India. Converts and neutrals/aethists are playing a big role to try to make Hindu religion extinct. Traditionally we did not do any good to the poor. And most poor were 'backward classes'. But realising the ages of suppression and intellectual input from the likes of Ambedkar we were trying to do many thing possible to get rid of this age old 'backwardness' - it's roughly equivalent to the colour suppression in the west. But some sections of India do not want to loose their centuries of suppression identity and use that for everything and fight against India in every cause. There are lots of improvements that can be made in Indian system to make it more efficient but these 'backward goons' who wants to live only in the past try to instigate fear and ignite fire in every possible occasion when things go wrong in Indian day-to-day functionality quoting the centuries of suppression They don't want to live in the present. These are backed by left parties because I feel leftists in India want a reason to fight forever (they usually don't have a solution, they just want to fight against ruling party) Modern India is suffering from rich-poor discrimination mainly. And to certain extent casteism too. (There are pockets of ignorant mobs still like the idea of untouchability in so called upper castes... but that is a minority now and no one cares about them). But these people like ASA who still live in stone age and feel that they are intentionally supressed and feel Hinduism is not good are the biggest danger to India. With the changed global religion politics and growing local terrorism aided by neighbours (and some local leaders) these kind of groups like ASA, who hate India showing Hinduism as a reason, can be easily used to infiltrate india to make it destabilised. I feel leftist ideology should be gone from India. They are not useful anymore but to do things that are useless to the society for their political existence. I also don't like ABVP OR OTHER goon grups who feel that they are the keepers of Hinduism because they cross the like very frequently to make people's personal life things public. If Hinduism is gone India will be divided into many pieces like Europe (the original plan of British raj on their exit). The other danger if not divided is an Islamic world spreading deeply to the Indian territory. Hinduism is the only saving factor so far to prevent these two scenarios. Because people for generations in this country are tolerant and lived with certain set of unwrittened values and morals in they day to day lives. | ||
