It depends on the 'concept of god' you believe in...if you are pure dualistic believing in the concept of god sitting in heavens creating and destroying the universe, we can fight for years on where exactly these heavens are? ...If you believe in non-dualism and singularity, that will come pretty close in alignment with quantum physics which in recent years is 'theorizing' about this constant inter-conversion of matter and non-matter at the most fundamental levels pointing towards non-existence of matter...which means whatever we see in this universe is pure energy for the lack of better term..philosophers call this energy 'pure consciousness' which in turn is 'god' by laymen... If you believe in the plausibility of eternity of some entity, its rather easy to get answers for these questions. Universe has no beginning no end. Energy and matter have always been there and will be there, they just are constantly inter-converting. Regarding big-bang, theory is that this entire visible universe contracted in to an extremely small sized particle and its density came close to infinity and thats when big-bang occurred. That force of big-bang is still on causing the expansion and once the force stops, universe again contracts due to gravity... cycle continues... Don't text and drive ! | ||

time/space of universe as we know are infinite! so science needed something as a starting point to construct/propose theories..... of all the propositions big bang theory got wider acceptance. Universe is vast so does the understanding of it, Scientists wants to first understand what is going on currently, after the assumed starting point what all variables and their interactions have led to this point where we are present. when a star becomes unstable, the huge mass converts to energy - the star dies into itself forming a singularity with zero mass and huge energy plus gravitational pull which dont even allow light to escape! If the big bang is the beginning then where did big bang happen? In space? Who created the space? They say matter/energy was at one place and explored as big band... but Who created all the matter/energy in the first place?
