IMHO this is not how it should be argued. Guards vesukovaalaa vaddaa ani participate chese vaallu decide chesukuntaaru. Participants r fully aware of the risks.(Like boxers know the risks involved.) The key issue here is they are trying to portray Hindu interaction with animals - whether Hindus have that legitimate right. If u don't allow Hindus, it will open up for other things to be banned(like Diwali diyas valla power waste etc., Aarti is not the correct way to 'pray' etc., They are already making such arguments) Good one at last.
