critics antey nostalgia rating....viewer ratings were not that great except for die hard fans.... jurassic world more of the same...aa kids thelipoyaar compared to kids in first installment... Haven't seen force awakens yet, but, I agree with Redclaw, both startrek movies were terrific... I read somewhere that jj abrams purposefully wanted retro look for this one ani. | ||

Absolutely....cudnt agree more... It was almost like they were remaking Part - 4 (A New Hope) with a few changes & a bit of Part 5 (Empire Strikes Back) thrown in for good measure. Nothing fresh in the story line....except trying to make it a family saga. Except for the girl, Rey, none of them have strong character arcs. Despite Kylo Ren's stylish avatar, he doesnt end up as menacing, showing too many invulnerabilities. Lets not even begin to compare him with Vader. Movie feels more like a Star Wars revision and platform for the next ones. But overall, it was ok...good....but not groundbreaking like the original series. Nostalgia wud hav brought it a lot of overhelmingly positive reviews. In fact JJ Abrams did a better job with the rebooted Star Trek than this, which had felt more energetic and fresh. | ||

okie dokie..nothing gr88... babulu star war fans dartheii etc how do u rate this movie? is it just me?? i havent seen any star wars movie completely before..but i read the stories a while ago.. this movie reminded me one of the parts...3 or 4 i dont remember.. movie start to end okate pace..no ups and downs..its just bland.. not a single character was gr8...aa chinna pillal lead characters ento.. may be its just me.. visuals were good..movie time pass..but im just stunned looking at the hyoed reviews and never before BO collns..i think most of the user reviews r given by teenagers these days thanks to social media and internet.. chass 80s 90s la lev sami big budget hollywood movies..there is no depth in movies,plot or characterization anymore..that thrilling moments, the feeling that u get that u havent seen anything like this before etc is not there any more... .its all hype, graphics action sequences etc and squeeze collns anthe.movie avg unte chal exceelent reviews and then smashing collns.. .monna transformers ninna jurrasic world ippudu star wars... or super hero movies or hunger games like sequels..chass.. |
